Come and See

In John 1, Philip invites Nathanael to “come and see” Jesus, even though Nathanael doubts that anything good could come from Nazareth. In the same way, when our own experiences with church, faith, or life leave a “bad taste,” God still invites us to come and see the good God can bring out of division, struggle, or loss. Rather than letting stereotypes, hurts, or disappointments keep us away, we are called to stay curious, to taste and see the goodness of God, and to invite others to experience Christ’s transforming love.
